For those who already have a Swiftpoint GT and are using Amazon Workspaces on their iPad, simply launch the Amazon WorkSpaces iPad client application, enable Bluetooth on your iPad and pair the GT mouse with your iPad (the GT mouse will pair automatically).
It’s simple to check the connection status of the Swiftpoint GT mouse and your iPad. While inside Amazon Workspaces, display the radial menu, and tap ‘Connection Status’. For more information about getting started with Amazon Workspaces iPad Client Application, please visit their user guide.
Amazon WorkSpaces joins a number of other remote desktop applications with which the GT is similarly functional. This means that many more employees whose roles rely on remote access will now be able to do so on their iOS device, with increased efficiency and precision with their desktop applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. The Swiftpoint GT, together with iPad and keyboard, offers a true desktop or laptop experience.
Swiftpoint’s current stable of remote access applications with iOS functionality also includes VMware Horizon Client, Amazon WorkSpaces, TeamViewer, Jump Desktop, Splashtop Business and Personal, Parallels Client, Sunlogin, Nulana Remotix and Mochasoft…. and more coming.
We invite companies looking at the GT for an iOS solution to get in touch with us at Corporate Enquiries.
