E3, the annual trade fair for the video game industry being held in Los Angeles from 13 -15 June, is considered by many to be the biggest gaming news expo of the year. Swiftpoint is attending this event to showcase the Z as a step towards our launch of the Z to gamers, designers and high-power users around the world.

For those of you attending E3, please take the opportunity to stop by our Booth (# 2351 in the South Exhibition Hall) and meet our Founder and CTO, Grant Odgers and colleague, Dan Barker. They’ll be pleased to put the Z through its paces with you.

Here are some photos from the opening day

Swiftpoint at E3 Expo - Z Launch #e32017The majority of our Kickstarter backers have received their Z’s, and the initial feedback has been extremely positive.

“I got the mouse, updated firmware.. thing works like a charm, best mouse I have ever had and used. It’s crazy responsive, incredibly customizable…best mouse ever, nothing comes close to it. This thing runs circles around any other mouse out there….it’s not even close..this thing is light years ahead…thanks to the creators!!” – Kickstarter backer feedback

We’ve released and will continue to release, updates to the driver, and we’re dedicating considerable resource now to providing customer support, FAQ’s and developing a forum where end-users can share experiences and ideas about how to get the most fun out the Z’s incredible functionality…. along those lines, many thanks to The Mad Hermit for producing this excellent video:

The Swiftpoint Z is available to order right now through our website (US purchases will be fulfilled by our US warehouse). By the end of this week, you should see the Z on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk, and it’ll be on-line with JB Hi-Fi in Australia and LDLC in France in the next couple of weeks. We’re working hard on broadening our distribution network, and invite resellers to contact us here.

“Might I say this surpasses my expectations, it’s absolutely incredible. Your software is brilliant, too! I’ve used other macro software in the past, and it’s a pain, confusing and intimidating. Your software is very intuitive and easy to use. I love it! I’ve configured it up quite a bit for internet browsing and man, it’s incredible. Huge props, I hope this is the future of gaming mice” – Kickstarter backer feedback.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be looking to raise the awareness of the Z through a number of channels. Do keep an eye out for further updates on this website, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
