I love this mouse. It has changed my whole workflow. Its comfortable, accurate, and has amazing functionality.
This mouse exceeds expectations and does everything I want from it and then some.
I bought the Swiftpoint Z2 about a couple months ago, and it has not let me down. The features they advertise DO actually do exactly what you would expect. Nothing about this mouse feels half assed. When it comes to hardware and functionality, the Swiftpoint Z2 mouse has some novel features, but also some very useful features I take advantage of.
I would consider the more novel features of the mouse to be its built in display, deep click, haptics, and tilt settings. You may not get the most use out of these, but they are implemented very well. I have found niche uses for them in certain games, they are great talking points, and have prove useful in unique scenarios. For example, I had rarely used the tilt feature for many applications, but when I had taken it over to a friends house to use, the tilt + display let me adjust the DPI and see an exact readout of the setting it was on, just by tilting the mouse and scrolling the wheel. It made it extremely easy for me and my friend to switch between our desired DPI in a fun way without having to install the software for the mouse on my friends machine.
As for the more practical features, the button placement is very useful. I have found myself using the buttons inline with the left/right click very helpful for using a claw grip on the mouse, along with the buttons that can click both forward and backwards. The mouse wheel does not have the ability to perform separate left and right middle clicks. This is something I am actually perfectly fine with as it means I will not accidentally perform one of those actions when pushing the mouse wheel down. The mouse wheel also has the added benefit of perform a middle click when pushed from its left side, allowing you to middle click without lifting up your pointer finger.
When it comes to the actual mouse software, it is very straight forward and intuitive. I was previously a user of the Logitech G502 series of mice, but had felt let down by Logitech's mice quality and the egregiously bloated UI for their software, the latter being a major problem for me. It is MUCH easier to program the Swiftpoint Z2, and has the benefit of having an underlying advanced UI in order to program the more complex/advanced mouse macros.
The last thing I have to say about this mouse is that it feels a little more ergonomic than the previous gaming mice I have used. The way the left and right mouse buttons are on slightly different levels, has my wrist angled a little bit towards a more natural resting position that feels just a little bit better, but it is clear it was not a design focus of this mouse and is very similar with other mouse of its shape.
I am very happy with this mouse and the only thing I am unclear of when it comes to this mouse is how durable it will be in the long term of my ownership of it.
Comfortable fit and fully customizable. Now I want the Z2 lol.
Everyone I talked to very nice and epic. Received a broken mouse ended up with a working mouse. Very satisfied. Mouse works great now.
The mouse exceeded my expectations in terms of comfortability and utility. The X1 control panel vastly exceeded my expectations, as it proved to be very reliable, intuitive, and fleshed-out with all of the features I would ever want. The only downside i can think of is that the force sensors are a little inconsistent and the calibration is slightly finicky, but - as a fan of that feature - I would not consider it a dealbreaker for customers. I would recommend it for casual gaming and any form of productivity.
Before buying it, I was worried that it'd be cheap because it's so tiny. But it definitely doesn't feel cheap and the features are very well thought out. Ergonomically, it's been a big improvement for me. With the parking spot attached to my laptop lid, I have the mouse with me as I move around and I'm much more likely to switch between trackpad and mouse.
I LOVE this mouse... I use the ProPoint. As an Interior Designer and Draftsman I'm constantly using my computer to communicate designs. In an effort to protect my wrist from a repetitive motion injury, I searched many options and purchased quite a few too! This tool is by FAR my favorite, and strikes up a lot of interest in my presentations. I can't complement the customer service I've received from Swiftpoint HIGHLY enough! They have been absolutely incredible.... almost as good as their product! LOL... I highly recommend this tool.
I orignally gamed on console intill the last 5 years, the mouse and keyboard took some time to get use to, I missed the feedback from the controller and versatility of Input actions you can do with your right hand. Plenty of tutorials on YT to learn how to configure it to your personal specs. cant use another mouse for FPS
No words to say really it is exactly what I paid for.
It took some time getting used to the Z2 but once I did its the best mouse I've used so far. Not a gripe but I have a Maguns Pro sit stand desk and the Z2 magnetizes to the desk itself.
with the addition of the 3 button, it took a little time to get used to it.
Now
I have it works very well, my observation is battery life is less than the original but that can be accommodated.
Overall a great product the extra features I do not use to date!
Best real mouse in the world, other try but fail.
Thanks Team for a great product!
This was an absolute impulse buy for me, and at first I was a bit disappointed by it arriving with a minor issue considering the cost of it. However, when I contacted support, they went out of their way to resolve it so swiftly and amicably that I simply cannot fault them. The mouse itself is good, definitely has a niche aspect to it that won't appeal to everyone, and it took a bit of adjustment to get used to not misclicking buttons. The unit itself is really well built, the software is really versatile, and very comfortable to use. A lot of thought has been put into this product, and you can tell.
The only critiques/drawbacks that I can comment on are that I cannot seem to disable the annoying "back/forward" browser actions on the mouse 4/5 buttons at the software level, so I have had to block that with AutoHotKey. I also have not yet found a reliable use for the tilt functions yet, but I think my wonky floor is throwing off the gyro.
… it is! - Whatever you dream of a mouse can do - Swiftpoint can do it!
Build design and quality is amazing. And great button placement with axis balancing to help prevent unwanted tilt inputs. Some of the buttons feel a little more loose than the rest, but i assume that wont negatively affect the lifespan of the actual switches.
I have smaller hands than I thought. Makes my finger hurt but i love the mouse! Trying to get use to M&K.
This mouse has been my work daily driver for a few months now for heavy CAD use. I was expecting a downgrade in ergonomics just based off the shape, but the mouse is surprisingly comfortable.
My only gripe is the scroll wheel, which I've almost completely replaced with gestures configured with X1. People also don't talk enough about how incredible X1 is, it's head and shoulders above any other hardware config software that I've used.
I don't use the pressure-sensitive buttons nearly as much as I expected, and the 'pull' trigger buttons are essentially useless for me, but all the other buttons are super well-placed and comfortable to use.
If I had to replace this mouse, then I'd probably just get the Creator, although I don't regret getting the Z2.
The mouse is incredibly versatile and complex. The tilt function works surprisingly well. Form factor was a bit awkward for my hands and usual posture.
What is undoubtedly superb is the Swiftpoint support. Lightning quick response and sending replacement parts around half the globe without questioning is quite the boss move!
