Firstly, I’d like to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone that entered, liked, commented, retweeted and shared. Many entries came from our dedicated and loyal followers and many from new friends that we’re meeting for the first time. I can honestly say that your response to and support of this competition has been much greater than expected and has made this the best we’ve run to date! Here’s to many more!

Before I announce the winners, I would like to give a cheeky plug to our sponsors, err… Us! Swiftpoint is a technology company based all the way down in the bottom of the world, in a magical wee country called New Zealand – where Orcs and Humans live together in harmony, frolicking among the Kiwi birds.

We’ve developed what we believe to be the best MMO mouse around, and we call it the Z. But of course, we’re going to think that, so we sent a couple of mice to two of the top WoW guilds in the world Method and Limit, to see what they thought – their responses were amazing!

  1. Christopher Collins

    Hello Dan!

I noticed my name is on the list for the winners (2nd place) and I just wanted to touch base to confirm! Thank you for the opportunity!

    1. Hi Chris,

Correct – you’ve won six months!

I’m happy to confirm that I’ve received your email along with those of a couple of the other winners. Expect a reply soon to coordinate receipt of your prize!

      Well done!

  2. Wish I would have won! Have you ever thought of making a trackball version? About a decade ago I developed tendon issues, and acquiring the logitech trackball (the older one, that’s symmetrical and long) fixed them up. Being symmetrical, I can switch up which hand I use for mousing, which helps keep things under control. I’d love it further to pieces if it had more and more usable buttons, but all the makers who are making the bajillion button mice haven’t gone to this style model. I would enjoy the opportunity to try something like this that accomodated my physical needs.

    1. Maybe next time you’ll be the lucky one!

Regarding the trackball version; we have seen this request a few times as the trackball mice are very popular among their users. We have not got any plans at this stage to develop one, but you never know what the future holds. For interest, you may want to have a look at our GT mouse, it’s certainly not aimed at gaming, but it’s unique design may be of interest. Many of our users even tell us that using the GT has cured their wrist and shoulder pains!
